Hi Allen. Sounds like a good interview that you had there. It is always refreshing to get new (Or old stated in a new way) views on how our province should be run. Seeing as we do not have the choice of this young man and his new party, we do rely on Green over here in the West Kootenays. they are not perfect either but we feel a better affinity to Morel than to the other running candidates. We attended the all-candidates meeting and were impressed with his presentation.
Cec presented a wonderful scenario for implementing the carbon tax so it would be fair to students and under privleged people, based on income tax returns. it sounded like a very fair way to continue with it for any of its benefits and still help out the underpaid, under privleged sector. If you would like a copy what he sent to Green let us know and we will forward it on.
Keep up your good work. thanks Joni

I have been a transit user for years....however....right now I am using my car in favour of the bus so I can get healthy. I have respiratory problems and it never fails that someone on transit coughs and sneezes their germs....
So right now I am driving to work and back to stay healthy...

Also...if marijuana gets legalized, it had better be for use in the privacy of people's homes....I am opposed to drug use on the street...it's bad enough to have to smell cigarette smoke....I sure don't want to be smelling pot every where I go.....legalize it fine....but in public...no....

The carbon tax is nothing but a tax grab.....it's the government's way of getting more of our hard earned cash out of us.....Given that I use transit for most things....why should I be punished by another tax because once in a while I need a vehicle.....

Also...if the government would see fit to put transit along #10 hwy.....or up the sunshine coast farther than Sechelt...it would alleviate ferry problems and there would be less cars using that highway. Alas...BC Transit has no interest in providing transit for the people who live or need to visit the coast. If Skytrain would run the same hours on the weekends so people could get to work they may not have to drive cars to get to work....Rant over for now....
